Why is FSWW Different?

The uniqueness that differentiates Fresh Spirit Wellness for Women from other women’s organizations such as: The Houston Area Women’s Center, The Women’s Home and the Star of Hope is that they offer great immediate services and shelter for women who need shelter in a crisis on a short term basis.  FSWW is the much needed second phase of recovery providing services to women who are in shelters as well as women who do not require shelter, but are in need of educational, emotional and spiritual support on an on going basis.  We have been able to work with clients from these organizations while in the shelter and during their transition after leaving the shelter through our out-care sessions.  We also assist working women who have had to face unexpected challenges due to abuse and the effects of toxic relationships who would otherwise have to pay an astronomical fee for counseling services and group therapy classes through private institutions.

What's It All About

FSWW host several support groups throughout the Houston area.  These groups are geared to give support, prayer, inspiration, healing and growth to women in crisis and non-crisis situations.  The support groups are small groups strictly for women and deals only with women issues.  Women who are bonded together by similar circumstances and a common cause.  FSWW support groups are a fellowship of women who support each other through the sharing of our strengths, hopes, testimonies and suggestions, our experiences and solutions, our trials and tribulations and most of all our faith.  

These groups are geared to help you, help yourself.  It is not about how you can help an alcoholic family member, a drug addict, workaholic, sexaholic, abusive spouse, rebelling child, codependent companion, foodaholic, sick relative or friend.   FSWW support group is about the responsibility that most women neglect, the most important responsibility of all, taking care of yourself.  IT'S ABOUT YOU!

Aid & Assistance

Fresh Spirit Wellness for Women's goal is to be able to assist women who are in need.  We wish to aid you as you desire to grow and be made whole.  Our Aid and Assistance program helps you in the areas such as:
