About  our  Vice President

Dr. LaRita Primrose is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  She is the mother of two daughters, Jamico and Jaronda and the grandmother of one grandson, Bryston.  She was educated in the Atlanta Public School System and did post graduate work at Georgia State University.  She was a classroom teacher for 23 years and was a Curriculum Specialist for 7 years.  She retired from Fulton County Schools with 30 years of dedicated service.

Dr. Primrose's background in general education, special education and administrative experience in Fulton County Schools have afforded many opportunities to intervene in challenging and volatile situations involving families and students.  Dr. Primrose has a solid working foundation in the area of today's issues.

Dr. Primrose's spiritual background began at Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church.  Her ministries included serving God, the church, and the youth and children.  Her spiritual walk is obvious.  She has the patience of Job, the determination of Paul and the faith of Abraham.  She is presently a member of New Life Baptist Church, where she works with the Comforter's Ministry and Hospitality ministry.  Dr. Primrose shows initiative and eagerness.  She has care and genuine concern for people, especially children and the elderly in a special way.

Her Personal Goals are:

Her passion to help others led her to Fresh Spirit Wellness, Inc. in Decatur, Georgia, where she is Vice President and Co-Partner with sister and founder, Conte Terrell of Houston, Texas.  Dr. Primrose is also a Facilitator for Jacksonville Theological Seminary, where she instructs those interested in receiving degrees (Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate) in Christian Counseling or Christian Education.  She is also employed with Embracing Hospice Care as a Chaplain/Bereavement Coordinator.
